[...] Easily track outbound links Export Unlimited Rows And here’s my very own hack. Not a complicated one, but I worked it out all by myself. Ever wondered how to get more rows to show on the page or in an export? As standard you can get from 10 to 500 rows before you have to click to the next page. That’s find if you’re looking at relatively small amounts of data, but if you want to get all of the referring keywords or pages that have been viewed it’s not very helpful. So, here’s how you go about exporting more… Find the bit of the URL that says &trows=10 and change the 10 to the total number of rows you want to export (look under the table for the total number of items available). Done. Now your export will contain the number of rows you’ve specifiec. [...]

The part after “javascript:location.href” should be tracked. Will this work?

Ok, forgot links are parsed :)

Pleae find below the post again but now with spaces in the links.

Does this script also work with onClick() links? Example:

The part after "javascript:location.href" should be tracked. Will this work?

And what will happen between different subdomains? I have a landingpage on:

htt p:/ / cdn. mysite .co m

In that landingpage I have links pointing to:

ht tp :/ /w ww .m ysite .c om

Those links should not count as outgoing links.

This is exactly what I have been looking for, a very neat solution. I know event tracking is 'neater' for tracking outbound links now but the one problem with it is GA still don't allow setting events as Goals, which is something I often want to do with outbound links.

However I need to convert this so it will work with the new Async tracking code which is now standard. Can you confirm if this code is correct?

Jquery:
_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', ('/outgoing/' + jQuery(this).attr('href'))]);

JavaScript:
_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', ('/outgoing/' + this.getAttribute('href'))]);

Appreciate any help you can give with this!!
