Nearby Tweets—my Twitter-based geography–centric social tool for networking and business tool for building customer relationships and monitoring real–time buzz—has been announced as a SearchAppalooza finalist!

Guess it’s time to cancel my spring break plans to head to Pipestem State Park with my family and instead take everyone to New York City for Search Engine Strategies New York where I’ll present Nearby Tweets to a panel. Nearby Tweets will be judged amongst other innovative search apps for which is most relevant and important for search marketers.
