Wireframing Freebie: 960 grid template for OmniGraffle

I’m a big fan of increasing efficiency and consistency from conceptual design to implementation. This OmniGraffle template has helped me quite a bit in that regard, and I decided to share it with others.

Installation

  1. Download Website (960 grid).gtemplate OmniGraffle template (Apple OS X only)
  2. Move from Downloads to /Users/xxxxx/Library/Application Support/OmniGraffle/Templates/ where xxxxx is your OS X username
  3. When starting a new document in OmniGraffle, select Website (960 grid) as your template

    Interesting software, it looks interesting. To bad I only use my mac for safari testing and prefer my tablet for wire framing, maybe when Apple released their new touch screen I’ll switch.

    Excellent timesaving resource, thank you. Wireframing has saved me hours of design time, and 960gs has saved me hours of coding time so this is a great way of keeping the design consistent from start to finish.
